Let’s face it, with as much noise as there is on the internet, GREAT copy

can mean the difference between growth and success, and failure.

Editing is not just a “step” in the publishing process, but should instead be viewed as a partnership in which the editor assists the writer in not only polishing the content but helping to develop the voice and clarify the message so that it is easily consumable by as large an audience as possible.

Having someone who is not deeply attached, but still cares about the author and their message can take your content from good to GREAT. And let’s face it, with as much noise as there is on the internet, GREAT copy can mean the difference between growth and success, and failure.

“Kathryn is truly an author’s editor. She’s on the writer’s side and she believes in her writer’s words and ideas more than her writers do.”

Author and Mindset Coach

For a number of years, Kathryn has been my editor as a contributing writer for The Good Men Project. She has helped me become a better writer through her editing style. Yet something else about Kathryn’s work has helped me, too. She’s been a sounding board for advice in my own writing journey.

When I think of Kathryn, I think of someone who puts her whole heart and soul into each piece of writing and every client she interacts with through her business. She always strives to bring the best out of her clients, and never disappoints.

I take being trusted to edit an individual’s content very personally. Words hold power, and they carry a part of the author’s essence with them. When editing, it is imperative that the essence and personality come through in the writing, and if edited incorrectly the core message can be lost.

My goal in editing is to help the writer express themselves, while also providing clarity, flow, and readability for their audience. I take great care to correct any and all grammatical and technical errors and adjust the content for easy of reading and flow while maintaining the author’s voice.

Having been in online publishing and a professional editor for over six years, dealing with many different types of writing, I believe it is necessary to approach all content with an open mind and a willingness to both teach and learn.

Please note: I only work with a few select clients one on one each month. Please apply below and include information about your current project or editing needs and I will get back with you shortly after review.

Thank you.

“Kathryn is truly an author’s editor. She’s on the writer’s side and she believes in her writer’s words and ideas more than her writers do.

Clients who work with Kathryn, really are “her writers”—not because she takes ownership of their work or is controlling in any way—but because she takes personal responsibility for her clients’ success.

She insures that authors say what they mean, mean what they say, and that they choose the words that offer the most impact.

She’s fastidious, detail-oriented and committed. All of that professionalism is wrapped up in the most supportive champion a writer could ask for.

If you have something important to say, you need Kathryn on your side to help you say it.

Kathryn first edited my articles. Next, she’ll edit my first book.”
